RAM speed test online
See how your browser moves data through memory. ApexMark measures copy bandwidth and dependent-lookup latency across a guarded ladder of working-set sizes, then verifies the data and lookup chain.
Run the benchmarkWhat a memory benchmark tells you
Memory bandwidth and latency affect tasks such as image processing, large spreadsheets and games. ApexMark copies buffers and follows a chain of dependent lookups across several working-set sizes, then reports the measurements the browser completed.
Caches can make small working sets look faster than RAM. ApexMark examines the bandwidth curve to find a RAM-sized regime where possible and flags results that may still include cache effects. It reports which sizes were actually reached and does not score failed verification.
Tips for a clean run
- Close memory-heavy tabs and apps first.
- Run the test more than once and compare the best clean result.
- Read the result as browser-visible memory performance, with its working-set size and cache notes—not the rated speed of a RAM module.
Frequently asked questions
Does this show my RAM speed in MHz?
No. It reports measured bandwidth and lookup latency as the browser sees them, not the frequency printed on a memory module.
Can I test RAM on my phone?
Yes, in a modern mobile browser when the required features and memory are available. ApexMark limits the workload and reports incomplete measurements rather than assuming a score.
